EnviroGold Global Achieves 99.55% Gold Recovery in Phase 3 Metallurgical Testing of Mine Tailings Reprocessing Technology
核心洞察
EnviroGold Global's proprietary NVRO Process™ (搜索) achieved exceptional metallurgical results with 99.55% gold and 98.96% silver recovery rates in Phase 3 testing, independently validated by ALS Laboratories (搜索) in Perth, Australia.
The technology demonstrated significant concentration improvements, increasing gold content by 380% from 5.5g/t to 20.9g/t and silver by 602% from 92g/t to 554g/t in the final concentrate.
The tailings reprocessing approach offers substantial environmental benefits, including an 86% reduction in acid mine drainage potential and a 14% reduction in on-site tailings volumes.
EnviroGold Global Limited (搜索) has announced exceptional results from Phase 3 metallurgical testing of its proprietary NVRO Process™ (搜索) for major tailings reprocessing projects, achieving near-total precious metal recovery rates that exceed previous benchmark outcomes.
Outstanding Recovery Performance
Independent testing conducted at ALS Laboratories (搜索) in Perth, Australia, validated the NVRO Process™ (搜索) metallurgical recoveries following successful pre-concentration and processing of customer tailings. The results demonstrated 99.55% gold and 98.96% silver recovery to a saleable concentrate, representing a significant advancement in tailings reprocessing technology.
The concentration improvements were particularly striking, with gold content in the concentrate increasing 380% from 5.5g/t to 20.9g/t, while silver content surged 602% from 92g/t to 554g/t. Additionally, base and critical metals reporting to the pregnant leach solution (PLS) increased by 8%.
The testing results showed strong correlation between laboratory outcomes and Andritz (搜索) IDEAS simulation modeling, confirming both the reliability and scalability of the NVRO Process™ (搜索). According to the company, similar performance outcomes have been achieved from other customers' Phase 3 test work.
Environmental and Economic Impact
The tailings reprocessing plan is designed to deliver substantial environmental benefits alongside metal recovery. The process achieves an 86% reduction in acid mine drainage potential by reducing pyrite content, while simultaneously decreasing on-site tailings volumes by 14%.
The project is expected to produce 1.2 million tonnes of saleable precious metal concentrates, with additional revenue streams from base and critical metals recovered from the PLS. The existing tailings facilities contain an estimated 9 million tonnes of tailings material with gross in-situ metal values exceeding US $3 billion, primarily comprising gold and silver.
Technology Validation and Next Steps
Grant Freeman, EnviroGold's executive, commented: "These Phase 3 results confirm the exceptional technical and economic potential of the NVRO Process™ (搜索) to realise metal value from tailings while delivering exceptional environmental benefits."
EnviroGold COO Royston Denysschen added: "I am proud of the work that our team and partners have achieved in 2025 delivering a combination of near total precious metal recovery, validation of our predictive process model and the environmental benefits of pyrite and tailings volume reduction. These results highlight EnviroGold's value proposition as a scalable, environmentally responsible solution for the global mining industry."
The company will proceed to Phase 4 of the Rapid Deployment Pathway, which will validate mass balance, recovery performance, project economics and environmental outcomes at scale. This phase represents a critical step toward commercial implementation of the technology.
