Evosep Launches Evosep Proteomics Ecosystem to Standardize LC-MS-Based Proteomics for Drug Development
核心洞察
Evosep (搜索) announces the launch of Evosep Proteomics, a unified sample-to-separation platform designed to standardize and scale LC-MS–based proteomics for research and pharmaceutical drug development.
The ecosystem introduces Evokit™ sample preparation kits and the Evosep (搜索)™ Lupo™ Sample Preparation System, extending standardization upstream from LC separation to sample preparation.
The platform aims to deliver consistent, AI-ready proteomic data at approximately $10 per sample, enabling applications in drug de-risking, biomarker discovery, and minimal residual disease monitoring.
Evosep (搜索), the Denmark-based company specializing in protein-based clinical diagnostics, has announced the launch of Evosep Proteomics, a comprehensive ecosystem designed to standardize and scale liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LC-MS)–based proteomics for research and pharmaceutical drug development. The launch was accompanied by news of a strategic collaboration with Molecular You (搜索) to advance standardized, high-throughput multi-omic testing for personalized biomarker profiling.
The new ecosystem brings together the Evosep (搜索)™ Lupo™ Sample Preparation System, Evokit™ sample preparation kits, and the established Evosep Eno™ system to create what the company describes as "a unified sample-to-separation platform built for reproducibility, scalability and AI-ready proteomic insights."
Closing the Standardization Gap
Proteomics, according to Evosep (搜索), stands at an inflection point. As biological research becomes increasingly data-driven and studies grow in size and complexity, the field requires more than advances in instrumentation—it requires an ecosystem capable of delivering consistent, interoperable, and high-confidence data across workflows and laboratories.
"To fully realize AI-driven drug development, LC-MS-based proteomics must become standardized. Our users have been asking for scalable proteomics, not only as a reliable analytical tool, but as an AI-ready data foundation for the next generation of drug discovery and development," said Morten Bern, CEO of Evosep (搜索).
Today's fragmented processes, manual variability, and inconsistent methods continue to limit scale and reproducibility, slowing the translation of proteomic insights into scientific and therapeutic impact. A key bottleneck lies upstream: despite advances in mass spectrometry, variability in sample preparation continues to limit data quality, comparability, and scalability.
The Evosep (搜索) Proteomics Platform
The newly launched ecosystem addresses pre-analytical workflow challenges through three integrated components. The Evosep (搜索) Lupo™ is a dedicated platform that minimizes manual steps, reduces variability, and eliminates protocol drift, ensuring consistent sample inputs. The Evokit™ sample preparation kits—launching with Evokit Digest and Evokit QC kits—provide standardized kits with traceability and reproducible performance, delivering consistent MS-ready samples on Evotips. These integrate seamlessly with Evosep One and Evosep Eno systems to enable scalable, reliable proteomics for multi-site pharmaceutical environments.
Built-in quality controls, consumable tracking, and workflow traceability support long-term studies, regulated environments, and translational research. Evosep (搜索) states that the platform delivers scalable, unbiased proteomics at a target cost of approximately $10 per sample, making high-quality, reproducible proteomics accessible for routine use in research, biomarker discovery, and large-scale drug development.
Applications Across the Drug Development Pipeline
Evosep (搜索) Proteomics is positioned to support multiple critical applications in pharmaceutical R&D. The platform enables de-risking of drug development pipelines through standardized, low-variance proteomics data that is comparable across studies and sites, supporting faster target discovery, biomarker identification, and AI-driven decisions with greater confidence.
It also accelerates New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) by providing reproducible proteomics readouts that strengthen non-animal, mechanism-based safety and efficacy assessments, enabling earlier candidate de-risking and improved translational reliability. Additionally, the consistent sample-to-separation workflows support Minimal Residual Disease (MRD) applications by enabling detection of subtle protein signatures over time, improving longitudinal monitoring and treatment response assessment in translational and clinical studies.
Molecular You (搜索) Collaboration
In a parallel announcement, Evosep (搜索) and Molecular You (搜索) revealed a strategic collaboration to advance standardized, high-throughput multi-omic testing. The partnership integrates the Evosep Eno system into Molecular You's proteomics workflow, supporting the transition toward highly reproducible, CLIA-grade multi-omic testing.
Molecular You (搜索)'s platform combines proteomics and metabolomics measurements from a single blood sample, covering over 190 biomarkers across multiple biological systems and disease pathways, translating this data into intuitive, actionable health insights and personalized recommendations.
"Our mission is to help people protect their health through meaningful guidance and earlier insights into their health risk, built upon advanced multi-omic analysis. By integrating Evosep (搜索)'s proven, high-throughput LC platform, we can ensure that our workflows are reproducible, scalable, and ready for global deployment across our partner lab network," said Jim Kean, CEO of Molecular You (搜索).
Morten Bern added: "Standardization is the foundation for bringing proteomics and multi-omics into routine use. Partnering with Molecular You (搜索), we are extending Evosep (搜索) Proteomics into a complete, scalable solution that standardizes workflows from sample to separation and connects reliable front-end processes with advanced data interpretation."
The combined solution is designed to ensure consistent performance across Molecular You (搜索)'s international partner laboratory network and accelerate the adoption of standardized workflows at scale, with the shared ambition of closing a critical gap in multi-omics: the need for standardized, scalable front-end workflows that match the sophistication of modern data analytics.
