AI Platform Demonstrates Precision in Antibody Design
At the center of Galux (搜索)'s technology is GaluxDesign, an AI-driven platform focused on de novo antibody design. The platform has generated high-affinity antibodies across multiple therapeutic targets and demonstrated remarkable precision when an AI-designed antibody structure showed high consistency with a cryo-EM experimental structure, which the company characterized as evidence of both precision and generalizability.
The company integrates its AI capabilities with experimental feedback from an internal wet lab to improve platform performance. Building on this foundation, Galux (搜索) is extending its efforts to more challenging target classes, including GPCRs (搜索) and ion channels (搜索).
Strategic Funding and Investment Support
The Series B round included participation from existing backers InterVest (搜索), DAYLI Partners (搜索), and PATHWAY Investment (搜索), along with new investors including Yuanta Investment (搜索), Korea Development Bank (搜索) (KDB), SL Investment (搜索), NCORE Ventures (搜索), SneakPeek Investments (搜索), Korea Investment & Securities (搜索), and Mirae Asset Securities (搜索).

Galux (搜索) previously raised an $18 million Series A in 2022, which helped expand its AI platform and R&D capabilities ahead of the current Series B round.

The new capital will be used to advance a next-generation approach to protein design that moves beyond "binder design" by incorporating functional activity and developability, with the aim of producing molecules that are more robust and therapeutically viable. The company also plans to expand R&D infrastructure and accelerate preclinical validation for proprietary programs.
Global Partnership Expansion
