The drug candidate was evaluated in a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase 2a trial (GRI-0621-IPF-02; NCT06331624) in 35 patients with IPF, approximately 80% of whom were on background standard-of-care antifibrotics. The trial met its primary, secondary and exploratory endpoints, with continued analyses and positive outcomes supporting previously reported findings.
