HT-4253: Targeting Neuroinflammation in Neurodegenerative Diseases
Halia Therapeutics (搜索) is currently evaluating HT-4253, an orally administered small molecule, in a Phase 1 clinical trial (NCT06537817). This trial aims to assess the safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics of HT-4253 in healthy adult volunteers. HT-4253 functions by inhibiting leucine-rich repeat kinase 2 (LRRK2 (搜索)), a key regulator of neuroinflammation implicated in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease (搜索).
