Immunocore Outlines 2026 Strategic Priorities with Focus on Melanoma Franchise Expansion and Pipeline Advancement
核心洞察
Immunocore plans to complete enrollment in its TEBE-AM Phase 3 cutaneous melanoma (搜索) trial in the first half of 2026, with topline data expected as early as the second half of the year.
The company is expanding KIMMTRAK's reach to more metastatic uveal melanoma (搜索) patients through US community centers and global market penetration while advancing three Phase 3 trials across multiple melanoma indications.
PRAME (搜索) franchise Phase 1/2 data will be presented in the second half of 2026, including brenetafusp combinations in ovarian and lung cancer and initial data from the half-life extended candidate IMC-P115C.
Immunocore Holdings plc (搜索) announced its strategic priorities for 2026 at the 44th Annual J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference, outlining plans to expand its melanoma franchise and advance its diverse pipeline across oncology, infectious diseases, and autoimmune conditions. The commercial-stage biotechnology company is building on the success of KIMMTRAK (tebentafusp), the standard of care for HLA-A*02:01 (搜索)-positive patients with metastatic uveal melanoma (搜索).
Melanoma Franchise Development
The company's top priority for 2026 centers on completing enrollment in TEBE-AM, the registrational late-line cutaneous melanoma (搜索) trial, in the first half of the year. "We expect to complete enrollment in the first half, positioning us for data readout as early as the second half of the year," said Bahija Jallal, CEO of Immunocore.
Immunocore is simultaneously enrolling patients in three Phase 3 trials across multiple melanoma indications. Beyond TEBE-AM, the company continues enrollment in the ATOM Phase 3 registrational adjuvant uveal melanoma trial, led by the EORTC, and PRISM-MEL-301, evaluating brenetafusp in first-line melanoma.
The company expects to present long-term 5-year Overall Survival data from the Phase 3 tebentafusp trial in metastatic uveal melanoma (搜索) in the first half of 2026, along with additional real-world evidence data from KIMMTRAK in the second half of the year.
PRAME Platform Expansion
Immunocore's PRAME (搜索) bispecific candidates represent a significant expansion opportunity beyond its current melanoma indication. The company plans to present Phase 1/2 data from brenetafusp combinations in ovarian cancer (搜索), including platinum sensitive ovarian cancer, and in non-small cell lung cancer (搜索) (NSCLC) in the second half of 2026.
"We have a significant amount of data for our PRAME (搜索) bispecific candidates, as monotherapy and combinations, and are enrolling patients in our first-line cutaneous melanoma (搜索) Phase 3 trial," said David Berman, Head of Research & Development. The company will also present initial data from its Phase 1 trial with IMC-P115C (PRAME-A02-HLE), the half-life extended candidate, in multiple solid tumors.
Beyond Oncology Applications
Immunocore continues advancing its infectious disease platform, with additional Phase 1 HIV (搜索) data expected in the second half of 2026. The company showed proof of concept data for its infectious disease platform in 2025 and continues dose escalation while monitoring viral rebound kinetics in people living with HIV.
The autoimmune disease program marks a new therapeutic area for the company. Immunocore plans to dose the first patient in a Phase 1 type 1 diabetes (搜索) trial with IMC-S118AI (PPI x PD1 (搜索)) in the first half of 2026 and submit a clinical trial application for IMC-U120AI (搜索) (CD1a x PD1) in atopic dermatitis (搜索) in the second half of the year.
Commercial and Financial Position
KIMMTRAK enters its fifth year post-approval in 2026, with the company expecting moderating revenue growth driven by continued increase in US community centers and global penetration. The company reported preliminary unaudited cash, cash equivalents and marketable securities of approximately $864 million as of December 31, 2025.
Technology Platform
Immunocore's proprietary T cell receptor (TCR) technology generates ImmTAC (Immune mobilizing monoclonal TCRs Against Cancer) molecules designed to redirect the immune system to recognize and kill cancerous cells. The platform extends to ImmTAV molecules for infectious diseases and ImmTAAI molecules for autoimmune diseases, representing a scalable, off-the-shelf immunomodulating approach across multiple therapeutic areas.
