核心洞察
Immuron Limited (搜索) announced unaudited FY26 global sales of AUD$7.7 million for Travelan, marking a 6% increase over the prior year and four consecutive quarters of growth.
Australian sales reached AUD$5.8 million, up 10% year-over-year, fueled by digital marketing, new store listings, and increased Southeast Asian travel.
U.S. sales grew 13% in USD terms to USD$1.2 million, supported by enhanced Amazon storefront, social media marketing, and influencer campaigns.
Immuron Limited (搜索) (ASX: IMC; NASDAQ: IMRN), an Australian-based biopharmaceutical company, has reported unaudited sales results for fiscal year 2026, demonstrating four consecutive quarters of growth for its flagship over-the-counter immune supplement, Travelan. Global FY26 sales reached AUD$7.7 million, representing a 6% increase over the prior comparative period.
The company's performance was anchored by strong results in its home market, where Australian sales climbed 10% year-over-year to AUD$5.8 million. Second-half FY26 Australian sales totaled AUD$2.5 million, up 6%, while fourth-quarter sales reached AUD$1.6 million, a 1% increase over the prior corresponding period.
Australian Market Momentum
Immuron attributed the sustained Australian growth to several factors: increased awareness and consideration driven by extensive digital and social media marketing; same-store growth resulting from enhanced promotion and past campaigns that drove both new and returning customers; expansion into new stores within banner groups where core ranging was secured in FY25; and increased travel to Southeast Asia. The company also launched new Travelan packaging and creative assets in the fourth quarter, which it expects will positively impact sales moving forward.
U.S. Market Gains Despite Currency Headwinds
In the United States, Travelan generated FY26 sales of AUD$1.8 million, up 7% on the prior year, and USD$1.2 million, reflecting a 13% increase in local currency terms. The company noted that growth was driven by an improved Travelan storefront on Amazon.com, the establishment of dedicated U.S. Facebook and Instagram pages, and increased investment in paid social media, influencer partnerships, and organic social media marketing. These gains were partially offset by the strengthening of the Australian dollar against the U.S. dollar.
Fourth-quarter U.S. sales were AUD$0.4 million, down 4% in AUD terms but up 6% in USD terms to USD$0.3 million. Second-half U.S. sales reached AUD$0.9 million, down 1% in AUD but up 9% in USD to USD$0.6 million.
Canadian Market Rebound
Canada showed a notable turnaround, with fourth-quarter FY26 sales surging 427% over the prior corresponding period. The company had previously reported sequential quarterly growth of 191% in Q2 FY26 and 82% in Q3 FY26, driven by consumer promotions following a pipeline fill into over one thousand retail pharmacy and grocery doors during FY25. Immuron continues to build brand awareness in Canada through in-store educational programs, promotions, and social media marketing.
Travelan: A Polyclonal Antibody Approach to Travelers' Diarrhea (搜索)
Travelan is an orally administered passive immunotherapy designed to prophylactically reduce the likelihood of contracting travelers' diarrhea (搜索), a condition defined as the passage of three or more unformed stools per 24 hours plus at least one additional symptom such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps, fever, or fecal urgency (Leung et al., 2006). Diarrhea remains the most frequent health problem among travelers to lower- and middle-income regions (Steffen, 2017) and is the leading infectious disease threat to deployed U.S. armed forces (Riddle et al., 2006).
The product is a highly purified tabletized preparation of hyperimmune bovine antibodies, manufactured from the colostrum of cattle immunized during pregnancy with a vaccine containing outer antigens from 13 human-derived enterotoxigenic E. coli (搜索) (ETEC) strains (Otto et al., 2011). The resulting hyperimmune colostrum, designated IMM-124E, contains significant levels of polyclonal antibodies specific for ETEC antigens including LPS, CFA-I, and Flagellin (Sears et al., 2017).
In Australia, Travelan is a listed medicine on the Australian Register for Therapeutic Goods (AUST L 106709). In Canada, it is a licensed natural health product (NPN 80046016), and in the U.S., it is sold as a dietary supplement for digestive tract protection.
Pipeline Development: IMM-529 for C. difficile Infection
Beyond its commercial product, Immuron is advancing IMM-529, an investigational adjunctive therapy being developed in combination with standard-of-care antibiotics for the prevention and treatment of recurrent Clostridioides difficile infection (搜索) (CDI). Developed in collaboration with Dr. Dena Lyras and her team at Monash University, IMM-529 employs a unique three-target approach, generating hyperimmune bovine colostrum antibodies against Toxin B (搜索), spores, and surface layer proteins of C. difficile vegetative cells.
Preclinical results have been promising: IMM-529 demonstrated 80% prevention of primary disease (P = 0.0052), 67% protection against disease recurrence (P < 0.01), and 78.6% efficacy in treatment of primary disease (P < 0.0001). According to the company, IMM-529 is the only investigational drug to date that has shown therapeutic potential across all three phases of CDI (Hutton et al., 2017). The antibodies have also demonstrated cross-reactivity with whole cell lysates of multiple human C. difficile strains, including hypervirulent variants.
Platform Technology and Broader Portfolio
Immuron's proprietary platform is based on polyclonal immunoglobulins (IgG) derived from engineered hyperimmune bovine colostrum. Bovine IgG is uniquely suited for oral delivery, as it withstands the acidic environment of the stomach and resists proteolysis by digestive enzymes in the gastrointestinal tract, allowing it to remain active and deliver its full benefits directly to target bacteria.
The company also holds an exclusive distribution agreement with Calmino group AB for ProIBS, a certified medical device for irritable bowel syndrome (搜索) symptoms, in Australia and New Zealand. A usability study of 1,003 users found that ProIBS was helpful for 94% of participants, with 91% experiencing improved daily life and 98% indicating they would recommend the product.
CEO Steven Lydeamore is scheduled to present these results at the Kalkine Media Webinar on July 20, 2026, with the presentation slide deck available on the company's investor website.
