The compound was nominated in 2022 as a potential best-in-class PHD (搜索) inhibitor targeting the Nobel Prize-winning HIF-α (搜索) pathway for treating CKD-related anemia through EPO (搜索) induction and improved iron utilization for enhanced blood cell replacement.
