The announcement comes as tens of billions of euros are spent each year on drug research and development globally, yet only a few dozen new drugs make it to market. The AI orchestrator agents function as supervisors for groups of specialized sub-agents, similar to a conductor managing different sections of an orchestra. Each orchestrator agent routes necessary actions—including speech-to-text transcription, clinical coding, structured data extraction and data summarization—to the appropriate sub-agent, ensuring that each step in complex workflows is accelerated while maintaining human expert oversight.
