Del-desiran is designed to address the root cause of DM1 (搜索), a progressive and often fatal neuromuscular disease with no currently approved therapies. The drug has already received Breakthrough Therapy, Orphan Drug, and Fast Track designations from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Orphan designation from the European Medicines Agency (EMA).
