Concurrently, Lexicon executed a private placement with an affiliate of Invus L.P. (搜索), its largest stockholder, for approximately $53 million in aggregate gross proceeds. The private placement includes 22.4 million shares of common stock at $1.30 per share and 367,145 shares of Series B Convertible Preferred Stock at $65.00 per share, which are convertible into approximately 18.4 million shares of common stock.
