The round includes new strategic investor Labcorp Venture Fund (搜索), along with continued participation from Merck Global Health Innovation Fund (搜索) (Merck GHI), Innovatus Capital Partners (搜索), and a leading U.S.-based biotech investor. Labcorp Venture Fund's investment marks the second strategic investment from a healthcare industry leader, following Merck GHI, further validating N-Power's novel approach to oncology drug development and broadened access to clinical research in community oncology.
A First-of-Its-Kind Prospective External Control Arm Platform
At the core of N-Power's innovation is the Prospective External Control Arm (ProECA) platform, which the company describes as the first of its kind. ProECA enables smaller, faster trials with reduced reliance on randomization, and allows for better informed early development decision-making.
ProECAs are standalone, prospective, trial-grade external control arms generated in routine care. By leveraging everyday cancer care data, the platform aims to reduce dependence on traditional randomized control arms in clinical trials. This approach cuts patient enrollment requirements, shortens trial timelines, and lowers development costs, while expanding opportunities for more patients to participate in cancer research.

Expanding Across Community Oncology
N-Power's first ProECA, focused on non-small cell lung cancer (搜索) (NSCLC), is operational at more than 40 sites across its community oncology research network, spanning multiple large community-based health systems. Several pharmaceutical and biotech partners use the NSCLC ProECA today to accelerate their early development and Phase 4 programs.
The company plans to launch ProECA in colorectal cancer (搜索) and prostate cancer (搜索) later this year, further extending its impact on oncology research and patient outcomes.
