The approval represents the first in a planned suite of artificial intelligence tools designed to leverage the world's only long-term intracranial EEG dataset for enhanced epilepsy monitoring and management.
AI-Powered Clinical Decision Support
ECoG Assistant (搜索) is designed to support clinical decision-making through deeper data insights and more efficient ECoG review. The AI model was developed using 124,450 epileptologist-labeled intracranial EEG (iEEG) long-episode records, enabling it to identify ECoGs of Interest from this extensive dataset.
The tool provides clinicians with a comprehensive single-view interface to review ECoGs of Interest spanning months through the ECoG Assistant (搜索) Trends Report. Additionally, physicians can explore timing patterns and potential triggers using the integrated Circadian Pattern Chart functionality.

The approval underscores NeuroPace's broader AI platform strategy, which builds upon proprietary patient-level brain data captured through the RNS System (搜索). The company has also submitted its next-generation Patient Data Management System (PDMS) for FDA review. This cloud-based platform is designed to modernize the underlying software infrastructure supporting the RNS System (搜索).
