The initiative combines NWEH’s FARSITE platform with data from the Medicine and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency’s (MHRA) Clinical Practice Research Datalink (CPRD (搜索)). This aims to improve the speed, scale, inclusivity, and representativeness of participant recruitment for clinical trials.

Traditional methods of identifying suitable clinical trial participants can take weeks or months, leading to increased costs and delays. The new model integrates NWEH’s FARSITE platform with CPRD (搜索)'s database of over 18 million anonymized patient records.
