The Congenital Heart Initiative: Redefining Outcomes and Navigation to Adult Centered Care (CHI-RON) study is set to transform the landscape of care for adults living with congenital heart defects (搜索). Led by Dr. Thomas Carton of the Louisiana Public Health Institute and Dr. Anitha John of George Washington University and the Children’s National Hospital, the study addresses critical gaps in the transition and ongoing management of these patients.

Dr. John, medical director of the Washington Adult Congenital Heart Program at the Children’s National Hospital and professor of pediatrics at George Washington University, contributes extensive clinical experience in managing congenital heart defects (搜索).
