Owkin Licenses K Pro AI Scientist and MOSAIC Patient Data to Servier for Oncology Research
核心洞察
Owkin (搜索) will license its K Pro (搜索) AI Scientist platform and multimodal patient data to Servier to support oncology research into hard-to-treat cancers (搜索).
Servier researchers gain access to patient-level data from Owkin (搜索)'s MOSAIC network for analysis within the K Pro (搜索) platform.
The deal expands a prior Owkin (搜索)-Servier collaboration focused on patient subgroup identification in oncology into a broader AI-powered research environment.
Owkin (搜索), the agentic AI company developing an automated AI scientist for drug discovery and development, announced an agreement with independent international pharmaceutical group Servier to license K Pro (搜索), Owkin's AI Scientist, together with multimodal patient data, to advance Servier's oncology research. The agreement, announced September 11, 2026, from New York and Paris, is intended to accelerate the study of hard-to-treat cancers (搜索).
Under the terms of the agreement, Owkin (搜索) will make multimodal patient data from its MOSAIC network accessible for analysis to Servier's research teams within K Pro (搜索). The arrangement represents the next chapter in the two companies' collaboration; their previous work together centered on patient subgroup identification, also in oncology.
A Single Environment for Data and AI Analysis
K Pro (搜索) is described by Owkin (搜索) as an AI scientist designed for pharmaceutical research and strategic decision-making. The platform combines multimodal patient data with specialized biological agentic AI to support decision-making across multiple stages of drug discovery and development. According to Owkin, K Pro delivers molecule optimization, target discovery, biomarker identification, subgroup optimization and clinical trial design.
The platform incorporates specialized biological tools developed using a decade of knowledge gained through pharmaceutical partnerships and state-of-the-art AI research. Owkin (搜索) said K Pro (搜索) has been trained and validated on real-world patient data and through the company's wet lab capabilities. By combining AI tools with multimodal patient information, the platform is intended to help researchers investigate complex biological questions more efficiently and generate hypotheses that can be tested throughout drug development.
For Servier, the partnership provides its scientists with a single environment to access patient data and apply AI to investigate disease biology. The companies expect the combination of patient-level data and AI-driven analysis to help Servier's researchers evaluate biological mechanisms and potential treatment strategies across its oncology pipeline.
Executive Perspectives on the Collaboration
"Our AI scientist is changing the way biopharma works," said Thomas Clozet, CEO and co-founder of Owkin (搜索). "By pairing K Pro (搜索) with Owkin's multimodal patient data, Servier's scientists can investigate the biology of hard-to-treat cancers (搜索) and reach answers that manual analysis alone cannot deliver."
"At Servier, we are constantly looking for new ways to deepen our understanding of disease biology and to bring better treatments to patients with hard-to-treat cancers (搜索). Access to high-quality patient data and AI-driven analysis in one place, through K Pro (搜索), helps our teams generate and test hypotheses with greater speed and confidence. We look forward to applying these capabilities across our oncology research," said Claude Bertrand, Executive Vice President, Research & Development, Servier.
Agentic AI in Pharmaceutical R&D
The agreement reflects the increasing use of agentic AI in pharmaceutical research, in which AI systems are being designed not only to analyze data but also to assist researchers across interconnected scientific workflows. Owkin (搜索) is developing its broader technology strategy around what it describes as Biological Artificial Superintelligence, with the goal of applying AI to biological problems that are difficult to solve through traditional research methods alone. K Pro (搜索) serves as a core part of that strategy by orchestrating AI skills, biological tools and multimodal patient data within a unified research platform.
Owkin (搜索) positions itself as an agentic AI company pioneering Biological Artificial Superintelligence to solve problems in biology where human researchers alone have failed. The company states that K Pro (搜索) is built on its multimodal patient data network, state-of-the-art AI for biology and a decade of experience working with pharmaceutical partners.
