PALI-2108: Targeted PDE4 (搜索) Inhibition for IBD
PALI-2108 is a once-daily oral PDE4 (搜索) inhibitor prodrug engineered for selective bioactivation in the ileum and colon. This design enables targeted PDE4 inhibition at sites of disease while allowing systemic distribution of the active drug. The candidate has generated positive clinical data from a Phase 1a trial and two Phase 1b clinical trials, including studies in ulcerative colitis (搜索) (UC) and fibrostenotic Crohn's disease (搜索) (FSCD).
Palisade Bio is now advancing PALI-2108 toward Phase 2 clinical studies in both UC and Crohn's disease (搜索). The company's differentiated prodrug platform and precision pharmacology strategy aim to transform proven PDE4 (搜索) biology into differentiated oral therapies for patients with chronic inflammatory and fibrotic diseases.
