The initiative aims to address the significant public health burden of norovirus, a highly contagious virus causing gastroenteritis. The trial is currently being conducted at the Sierra Nevada Health Center in Carson City, with plans to expand to other NVHC facilities throughout Nevada.
NVHC and Javara (搜索) initiated their collaboration in 2023 to bring clinical research opportunities to Nevadans. To date, NVHC has been presented with seven trial opportunities, with the norovirus (搜索) vaccine (搜索) study and a cardiovascular disease (搜索) study currently active.
