PhaseWell Research (搜索), a Nashville-based multisite clinical research company, has entered into a partnership with Latin Clinical Trial Center (搜索) (LCTC) in San Juan, Puerto Rico, marking a significant expansion of clinical trial access for patients across the island. The collaboration, announced on June 17, 2026, integrates one of Puerto Rico's most established research sites into PhaseWell's growing national network.
LCTC, led by founder and Principal Investigator Dr. Carlos A. Sariol and Site Leader Anmari Ferrer, has operated continuously for two decades, completing more than 85 clinical studies spanning Phases II through IV. The site has cultivated deep community roots in San Juan, with access to tens of thousands of patients and a retention rate exceeding 96%—a metric that underscores the trust and patient-centric model that define its operations.
"Puerto Rico has long been underrepresented in clinical research relative to the talent and patient communities it holds.
