The allowance further expands the Company's intellectual property portfolio supporting its proprietary CAPTN-3 (搜索) platform for conditionally activated multispecific antibodies.
The newly allowed U.S. patent strengthens protection for the modular architecture underlying CAPTN-3 (搜索), a platform designed to enable the efficient generation of tri-specific antibodies by exchanging tumor-associated antigen (TAA) binding domains and other functional arms while leveraging a common platform backbone. This flexibility is intended to accelerate the development of new therapeutic candidates across multiple cancer indications.

The Allowed Patent
The USPTO has issued a Notice of Allowance for U.S. patent application entitled "Precursor Tri-Specific Antibody Constructs and Methods of Use Thereof." The allowed claims cover tri-specific antibody constructs comprising dual TAA binders alongside other features of the CAPTN-3 (搜索) platform, further strengthening the intellectual property protecting the platform and expanding its versatility and future development and partnering potential. A Notice of Allowance indicates that the USPTO has determined the allowed claims meet the requirements for patentability, subject to payment of the required issue fees.
The CAPTN-3 Platform and Pipeline
Purple Biotech (搜索) is focused on advancing its lead program, CAPTN-3 (搜索), a platform of masked tri-specific antibodies that simultaneously target tumors while engaging both T cells and NK cells. Capping technology confines immune activation to the tumor microenvironment, significantly expanding the therapeutic window compared to conventional T-cell engagers.
The platform's lead candidate, IM1240, is advancing toward the clinic, and its second candidate, IM1305 (搜索), is in preclinical development. The Company's pipeline also includes additional clinical-stage assets for which further development is pending partnering or investment, including CM24, a CEACAM1 (搜索)-blocking antibody that demonstrated improved outcomes across all efficacy endpoints in a Phase 2 study for the treatment of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (搜索), and NT219, a dual IRS1/2 (搜索) and STAT3 (搜索) inhibitor that completed a Phase 2 study for the treatment of recurrent and/or metastatic squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck (搜索).
The U.S. patent allowance complements Purple Biotech (搜索)'s growing patent estate and reflects the Company's strategy of continuously expanding both the capabilities of, and the intellectual property supporting, its conditionally activated multispecific antibody technologies.
