Bayliffe previously spent 20 years at GlaxoSmithKline leading drug discovery and development programs, and served as Chief Scientific Officer at Marengo Therapeutics (搜索) for over five years.
The appointment comes at a pivotal time as Quotient looks to translate its somatic genomics findings into breakthrough medicines through its internal and partnered programs.
Quotient Therapeutics (搜索), a Cambridge-based company pioneering somatic genomics to inform breakthrough medicines, announced the appointment of Andrew (Andy) Bayliffe, PhD, as Chief Development Officer. The strategic hire brings over 25 years of leadership experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, with expertise spanning discovery and development of small molecule and antibody therapeutics (搜索) across a broad range of disease areas.

Extensive Industry Experience
Bayliffe's career spans pharmaceutical, biotech and venture capital roles. During his 20-year tenure at GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals, he led the discovery and development of numerous drug programs through early and late phases across a broad range of therapy areas, while developing deep expertise in the clinical pharmacology of both small and large molecules.
More recently, as a Venture Partner at Apple Tree Partners (搜索) venture capital firm, Bayliffe co-founded Marengo Therapeutics (搜索) where he served as Chief Scientific Officer. In this role, he led the discovery of several novel TCR (搜索)-targeted antibody platforms for treating autoimmune and oncology diseases (搜索). During more than five years as CSO at Marengo, he led the development of a diverse pipeline of wholly owned and partnered programs in addition to defining the translational pharmacology of lead molecules in Phase 1/2 clinical trials.
