The company's presentations, centered at booth no. 2901, aim to address the mounting pressures clinical laboratories face from staffing shortages and increasingly complex workflows by expanding access to high-precision testing, automating laboratory workflows, and improving operational efficiency.

Automated Mass Spectrometry Enters the Routine Core Lab
A centerpiece of Roche's ADLM presence is the first live, in-booth unveiling of the cobas® Mass Spec solution, scheduled for 10:15 a.m. PT on Tuesday, July 28. The system, which includes the cobas® i 601 analyzer and Ionify® reagents, carries a CLIA "moderate complexity" classification — a designation intended to bring highly complex mass spectrometry testing out of specialized units and into routine clinical core laboratories. From sample preparation through final result interpretation, the solution integrates end-to-end processing and eliminates labor-intensive manual workflows.
Next-Generation Sequencing Accelerated by SBX Technology
Roche is also featuring the AXELIOS 1 next-generation sequencing platform, powered by sequencing by expansion (SBX) technology. The platform is designed to reduce sequencing time from days to hours, making genomics research faster, more flexible, and more affordable for laboratories of all sizes. The AXELIOS 1 is available for Research Use Only and is not intended for diagnostic procedures.
Alzheimer's Disease (搜索): A Blood-Based Biomarker Milestone
Building on recent FDA clearances, Roche is spotlighting its Elecsys® Phospho-Tau (181P) (搜索) blood-based biomarker test. It is the only blood test FDA-cleared for use across primary-care settings to aid in ruling out Alzheimer's disease (搜索)–associated amyloid pathology in adult patients aged 55 and older presenting with signs and symptoms of cognitive decline. The test represents a significant step in expanding access to earlier clinical insight and risk assessment for Alzheimer's disease.
Core Lab Automation Portfolio
Roche's core lab offerings on display include the cobas® connection modules (CCM) Vertical, a fully automated track system with elevators and overhead vertical transportation for space-saving sample routing. The cobas® pro integrated solutions combine clinical chemistry and immunochemistry testing on a single platform, delivering up to 4,400 tests per hour, and feature the newest analytical units — the cobas® c 703 and cobas® ISE neo. For low- to mid-volume laboratories, the cobas® pure integrated solution consolidates clinical chemistry, immunochemistry, and electrolyte testing into a compact platform using the same standardized reagent packs as the larger cobas® pro systems. The cobas® mobile solution integrates digital apps onto a tablet platform for real-time instrument monitoring, predictive maintenance planning, and remote analyzer control.
Molecular Diagnostics and Digital Pathology
Additional molecular platforms include the cobas® 6800/8800 system (Version 2.0) for mid- to high-throughput testing, the compact cobas® 5800 system for low- to mid-volume laboratories, the cobas® eplex system for rapid syndromic molecular testing, and the cobas® prime pre-analytical system for automated sample preparation.
In digital pathology, Roche is demonstrating the VENTANA® DP 600 slide scanner paired with navify® Digital Pathology software for cloud-based viewing and LIS connectivity, alongside the BenchMark ULTRA PLUS system for fully automated immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization slide staining.
Point-of-Care and Digital Solutions
Roche's point-of-care ecosystem features the cobas® liat system, which uses gold-standard PCR technology to deliver results in 20 minutes or less for respiratory pathogens and sexually transmitted infections. The cobas® pulse system provides lab-quality blood glucose readings for professional settings, while the cobas® Urisys® 1100 and CoaguChek® XS Plus system address urine analysis and anticoagulation monitoring, respectively.
The navify® Digital Solutions portfolio — including navify Lab Operations, navify Analytics, navify Quality Suite, and navify POC Operations — turns complex laboratory data into actionable insights through proactive issue detection, workload prediction, and comprehensive operational visibility. Roche is also previewing upcoming enterprise solutions, including navify Inventory Solutions and navify Algo Suite, a cloud-based platform that integrates clinical algorithms into existing Electronic Medical Records.
