The company sold nearly 10.6 million shares at $18 apiece and will trade on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol "SION."
Targeting CFTR Protein for Improved Function
Sionna is developing therapies designed to stabilize a challenging region of the CFTR protein (搜索), which is defective in patients with cystic fibrosis (搜索). The company believes its approach could restore CFTR function more effectively than Vertex's current treatments.
