WAUWATOSA, Wis. — SplashBIO (搜索) Inc., a biomarker-driven enrollment infrastructure platform for clinical trials, announced its launch as an independent company on July 7, 2026. Spun out from Splash Clinical (搜索) — the enrollment organization where the platform was originally built and proven — SplashBIO now operates as a standalone Platform-as-a-Service company dedicated to transforming how participants are pre-screened before they ever reach a trial site.
The launch addresses one of the most persistent and costly challenges in clinical research: screen failure. In the landmark A4 study of preclinical Alzheimer's disease (搜索), 71% of volunteers screened by amyloid PET were deemed ineligible, according to findings published by Sperling et al. in JAMA Neurology (2020). SplashBIO (搜索)'s platform is designed to dramatically reduce this inefficiency by moving biomarker validation to the very front of the enrollment funnel.

Built on an Established Partnership with C2N Diagnostics (搜索)
SplashBIO (搜索)'s platform builds on an existing partnership with C2N Diagnostics (搜索), first announced in March 2025, which integrates C2N's blood-based biomarker tests into the pre-screening workflow for Alzheimer's disease (搜索) trials. C2N provides high-resolution, mass spectrometry-based biomarker tests that support researchers in understanding disease mechanisms, identifying therapeutic targets, and conducting large-scale epidemiological studies.
