Stallergenes Greer to Present Paediatric Phase III YOBI Data and Real-World EfficAPSI Findings at EAACI 2026

The EfficAPSI study, the largest real-world SLIT cohort to date, evaluated over 110,000 treated patients and more than 330,000 comparator patients for asthma (搜索) onset and progression.
Stallergenes Greer will unveil a substantial body of new clinical evidence in allergen immunotherapy (AIT) at the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) congress, held from June 12 to 15 in Istanbul, Turkey. The company's scientific programme features 23 abstracts, including two oral presentations and nine flash talks, anchored by the debut of paediatric phase III data from the YOBI study and updated real-world findings from the landmark EfficAPSI cohort.
The centrepiece of the presentation slate is the first public disclosure of results from YOBI, a phase IIIb clinical study evaluating the safety and efficacy of 300 IR Birch liquid sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT) in children and adolescents with birch pollen-induced allergic rhino-conjunctivitis (搜索) (ARC). The trial enrolled 553 participants aged 5 to 17 years across 64 sites in 12 European countries. Participants received a daily maintenance dose administered pre- and co-seasonally over two consecutive birch pollen seasons.
YOBI met its primary endpoint, demonstrating a statistically significant and clinically meaningful 41% improvement in the ARC total combined score during the second pollen season compared with placebo (p<0.0001), with a between-group difference of −2.62 points. The safety profile was consistent with the established profile of 300 IR Birch SLIT liquid.
"The YOBI data represent an important step forward in understanding how sublingual immunotherapy can benefit paediatric patients with birch pollen allergy," the findings suggest, as the company brings these results to the international allergy community for the first time.
Alongside YOBI, Stallergenes Greer will present new real-world evidence from VORAN, evaluating the 300 IR House Dust Mite (HDM) SLIT tablet, and updated findings from EfficAPSI, the largest retrospective real-world longitudinal cohort study of SLIT conducted to date. EfficAPSI evaluated the real-life impact of SLIT-liquid on asthma (搜索) onset and progression in patients with allergic rhinitis (搜索), drawing on data from more than 110,000 patients treated with Stallergenes Greer's SLIT-liquid and symptomatic drugs, alongside a comparator cohort of more than 330,000 patients receiving symptomatic treatment alone. All patients had allergic rhinitis, with or without asthma, and were followed in France between January 2010 and December 2018.
The company will also host a scientific symposium on June 12 entitled "From Nobel Prize discovery to AIT clinical evidence: Shaping pathways to respiratory allergy remission." Chaired by Prof. Mübeccel Akdiş of Switzerland, the session will feature three leading international experts. Prof. Akdiş will open with a talk on "Turning off allergy at its source: The potential of AIT," followed by Prof. Oliver Pfaar of Germany presenting "Birch SLIT: What's New in the Evidence?" Prof. J. Christian Virchow, also of Germany, will close with "From consensus to clinical impact: AIT outcomes through the lens of remission."
