The strategic investment provides Takeda access to proven quality life sciences deal flow in central Europe and BaseLaunch's company-building capabilities, while contributing expertise in biotech innovation and medicine development.
Strategic Partnership Expands Industry Support
Through this partnership, Takeda (搜索) joins five existing pharmaceutical partners including AbbVie (搜索), Roche, Novo Nordisk, Johnson & Johnson, and CSL (搜索), along with venture fund Pureos Bioventures (搜索). The commitment from these prominent partners demonstrates the continued success of BaseLaunch (搜索)'s model, which deeply embeds portfolio companies in the Basel area, recognized as a hotspot of European biopharma innovation.

The platform has achieved two notable exits, most prominently T3 Pharma (搜索), which was acquired by Boehringer Ingelheim for $500 million in 2023. This successful exit validates BaseLaunch (搜索)'s approach to identifying and developing high-value biotech ventures.
