"One of the things about this cancer is it does spread quickly and widely," explained Associate Professor Hao Wen Sim from St Vincent's Hospital (搜索). "So the majority of patients will present with advanced, and incurable disease."

Wayne Troy, a 58-year-old New South Wales farmer and grandfather, exemplifies the drug's potential. After his unexpected diagnosis following kidney pain that led to the discovery of liver abnormalities, Troy has been participating in a Tibsovo trial for two years.
"The last scan that was done everything was stable," Troy reported, noting that the oral tablets allow him to continue working without side effects after previously enduring surgery, chemotherapy, and trial immunotherapy.
Expanding Access Through PBS Listing
Federal Health Minister Mark Butler emphasized the significance of the PBS listing, stating that "90 patients we think every year, will get access to this new life-saving treatment which otherwise would've cost them around $125,000 for a course of treatment."
