TRIANA Biomedicines Secures $120M Series B to Advance ALK-Targeted Molecular Glue Degrader for Lung Cancer

TRIANA Biomedicines (搜索) has successfully closed an oversubscribed $120 million Series B financing round to advance its lead molecular glue degrader (搜索) TRI-611 (搜索) toward clinical proof of concept in ALK-positive non-small cell lung cancer (搜索) (NSCLC). The Lexington, Massachusetts-based biotechnology company announced the funding will support development of its anaplastic lymphoma kinase (搜索) (ALK (搜索))-targeted therapy and accelerate maturation of multiple pipeline programs.
The Series B financing was co-led by new investors Ascenta Capital (搜索) and Bessemer Venture Partners (搜索), with additional new investors including YK Bioventures, Regeneron Ventures (搜索), Invus, and Finchley Healthcare Ventures. Existing founding investors RA Capital Management and Atlas Venture continued their support, along with Lightspeed Venture Partners, Pfizer Ventures (搜索), and Surveyor Capital.
Addressing Unmet Medical Need in ALK+ NSCLC
While advances in ALK tyrosine kinase inhibitor (搜索) therapies have markedly improved outcomes for patients with ALK (搜索)+ NSCLC, acquired resistance and tolerability issues remain key challenges in this predominantly younger lung cancer (搜索) subpopulation. TRIANA's approach with TRI-611 (搜索) presents a significant opportunity to advance the standard of care and improve the lives of patients living with ALK+ NSCLC.

Clinical Development Timeline
The proceeds from the financing will support development of TRI-611 (搜索) to clinical proof of concept in ALK (搜索)+ NSCLC patients and enable selection of a second product candidate in 2026. The funding will also advance TRIANA's product pipeline beyond TRI-611.
