This approval marks StemCyte as the first commercial U.S.-based biotech company to secure a biologics license for cord blood stem cell therapy.
REGENECYTE™ is an allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell therapy derived from human umbilical cord blood. It is indicated for unrelated donor hematopoietic progenitor cell transplantation alongside a preparative regimen for hematopoietic and immunologic reconstitution. The therapy is designed for patients with inherited or acquired disorders affecting the hematopoietic system, or those resulting from myeloablative treatment.
Expanding Therapeutic Applications
Beyond REGENECYTE™, StemCyte (搜索) is investigating the potential of its other HPC, Cord Blood products for emerging therapeutic applications. These include chronic fatigue syndrome (搜索), aging-related diseases, and conditions associated with suboptimal health.
