Dr. Roach spearheaded a Phase III trial utilizing prostate-specific antigen (PSA (搜索)) levels as a measure for outcomes, incorporating PSA nadir as a secondary endpoint. Dr. Roach has been a UCSF faculty member since 1990 and chaired the Department of Radiation Oncology (搜索) from 2006 to 2015. He holds a medical degree from Stanford University School of Medicine and completed fellowships and residencies at multiple institutions.
