Venous Disease Trials at The VEINS
The VEINS program features a range of late-breaking studies addressing venous disorders. Manj Gohel, MD, will present a prospective clinical trial evaluating cyanoacrylate closure in patients with C6 disease, reporting Spectrum secondary outcomes through 24 months. Steve Elias, MD, will share interim 6-month results from the BERG02 study, a core lab-adjudicated study of percutaneous ligation of superficial and perforator veins combined with sclerotherapy using a novel device.
Paul Gagne, MD, will present early 30-day results from a real-world registry of the Abre Venous Stent System in patients with central venous disease. Patrick E. Muck, MD, will report the primary results from the prospective, multicenter IDE BOLT study on the safety and efficacy of mechanical thrombectomy for patients with deep vein thrombosis (搜索).
Suresh Vedantham, MD, will present 24-month results from the NIH-sponsored C-TRACT randomized trial examining the effects of iliac vein stent placement on quality of life in patients with post-thrombotic syndrome (搜索). Andrew Holden, MBChB, will share 1-year functional outcomes and quality of life data for pulmonary embolism (搜索) after mechanical thrombectomy of 1,000 prospective patients.
Riyaz Bashir, MBBS, MD, will present results of the interim analysis of 150 participants in the RAPID-PE study, a prospective multicenter trial of on-the-table mechanically channeled thrombolysis for acute intermediate-risk pulmonary embolism (搜索). Stephen Black, MD, will report on the safety and effectiveness of the Recana Thrombectomy Catheter System for the treatment of venous in-stent restenosis and residual vein obstruction.
Peripheral Vascular Disease Trials at VIVA
The VIVA program highlights advances in peripheral artery disease (搜索) (PAD) and related conditions. Jay Mathews, MD, MS, will present the first report of 12-month results from the SELUTION4SFA RCT, comparing a sirolimus-eluting balloon versus balloon angioplasty for the treatment of femoropopliteal artery lesions. Stefano Barco, MD, PhD, will discuss sirolimus-coated balloon angioplasty for femoropopliteal peripheral artery disease.
Thomas Zeller, MD, will present 24-month data from the SUCCESS PTA study on the performance of a novel sirolimus-eluting balloon in real-world peripheral artery disease (搜索) patients, as well as the PESTO-CFA trial comparing percutaneous intervention versus surgery for the treatment of common femoral artery (CFA) lesions.
Brian DeRubertis, MD, will report real-world 6-month outcomes of the Esprit BTK drug-eluting resorbable scaffold in chronic limb-threatening ischemia (搜索) (CLTI) from the post-approval study. Ehrin Armstrong, MD, will present a subgroup analysis from the MOTIV pivotal trial comparing clinical outcomes of the MOTIV sirolimus-eluting resorbable scaffold in Rutherford Category 4 versus Rutherford Category 5 chronic limb-threatening ischemia.
Pulmonary Embolism and Adjunctive Therapies

Young, MD, will present predictors of major bleeding in acute intermediate-risk pulmonary embolism from the HI-PEITHO randomized study. Mikołaj Maga, MD, PhD, will present the first results of the CADET-PAD study, showing that montelukast reduces the risk of major adverse limb events after endovascular treatment.

George, MD, will present results from the POWER PAD II study on pulsatile intravascular lithotripsy to open vessels with calcific walls and enhance vascular compliance and remodeling for peripheral artery disease (搜索). Khanjan Nagarsheth, MD, MBA, will present a randomized clinical trial on adjunctive transdermal continuous oxygen therapy accelerating surgical wound healing after lower extremity revascularization. Daniel G. Clair, MD, will report 1-year outcomes from the PROMISE III trial of transcatheter arterialization of the deep veins.

Eric A. Secemsky, MD, MSc, will present 12-month outcomes for patients with complex PAD conditions, including diabetes mellitus, chronic total occlusion (CTO), long lesions, and calcified lesions, treated with drug-eluting stents (DES) from the ELEGANCE registry. Sean P. Lyden, MD, will report 9-month outcomes of the AGILITY trial iliac cohort, a prospective, multicenter study on Revello, a low-profile self-expanding covered stent.
William A. Gray, MD, will present PERFORMANCE II stroke rates through 1 year, providing a deep dive into ipsilateral and contralateral stroke outcomes by subgroups. Prakash Krishnan, MD, will share early real-world evidence from the Rotarex Global XTRACT registry on treating chronic limb ischemia patients with atherothrombectomy.
