Financial Performance
For the third quarter of 2024, XOMA Royalty (搜索) reported total income and revenues of $7.2 million, compared to $0.8 million in the same period of 2023. Research and development (R&D) expenses were $0.8 million, primarily due to clinical trial costs related to KIN-3248 from the Kinnate acquisition. General and administrative (G&A) expenses totaled $8.0 million, up from $6.4 million in Q3 2023, mainly due to costs incurred post-Kinnate acquisition.
However, the company recorded a one-time, non-cash impairment charge of $14.0 million related to the Agenus Royalty Purchase Agreement, impacting the net loss for the quarter, which stood at $17.2 million compared to a net loss of $5.5 million in Q3 2023.
