UK Invests £9.7m to Strengthen Clinical Research Careers Across the NHS

- The Medical Research Council (MRC) is investing £9.7 million to establish ten Regional Accounts for Clinical Researchers (RACR) across the UK. - The initiative brings together more than 50 research organisations and over 60 NHS organisations across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. - The programme will deliver flexible, tailored support to more than 190 clinicians at critical career "pinch points" over the next two years. - The University of Exeter and Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust will join the Great Western Clinical Research Alliance to support clinical academics.
