- •Restrict mouth opening
- •Difficulty chewing
- •Patients with pain in the masticatory and joint muscles

- •Abnormal skeletal occlusions (class II and class III occlusion)
- •Systemic disorders that affect the temporomandibular joint
- •Patients who have received analgesic or anti-stress medications in the past two weeks
- •Teeth suspected of pulpitis
- •Pregnant and lactating women
- •Patients with epilepsy
