1.Healthy females with a term,uncomplicated,singleton pregnancy undergoing elective cesarean section section under spinal anaesthesia
2.ASA physical status l ans ll
3. Patients weighing between 40-100 kg
4. Patients height between 140-180 cm
1.Hypertension,cardiovascular diseases,renal diseases,diabetes
2.Absolute or relative contraindications for spinal anaesthesia
3.Patients on mono amine oxidase inhibitors or tricyclic antidepressants
4.Allergy or Hypersensitivity to study drugs
5.History suggestive of mesentric or peripheral vascular thrombosis
6. Patients with known fetal abnormalities
