Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Declaration of consent of the patients
  • •\- Age over 18 years
  • •\- Sinus Rhythm
  • •\- Ability to give consent
  • •\- Planned major surgical intervention in visceral/thoracic surgery, urology or orthopedics/accident surgery under general anesthesia with expected major blood losses \=500ml
  • •\- Necessary application of an invasive arterial blood pressure measurement

Exclusion Criteria

  • •\- Pacemaker
  • •\- higher grade valvular disease
  • •\- BMI \=30 kg/m2
  • •\- Peripheral arterial occlusive disease
  • •\- Raynaud's disease
  • •\- Existing catecholamine needs
  • •\- Intraoperative equipping of an epidural catheter
  • •\- Septic patients
  • •\- Chron. Skin diseases
  • •\- Allergy to Propofol/Soya/Rocuronium
