Subjects of both sexes; healthy / chronic venous insufficiency; Willingness and ability of the subjects to wear compression stockings and to follow doctor's instructions; Age between 18 and 80 years;
Presence of the written consent to participate in the study after talking about the nature, importance and risks of the clinical trial as well as the expected, desirable and undesirable effects; Sufficient German language skills both written and spoken
Age under 18 years and over 80 years;
Acute deep venous thrombosis; Arterial occlusive disease; Diabetes mellitus with neuropathy or peripheral arterial blood flow disorder, Absent mobility; Not signed consent; Lymph vessel insufficiency; Pregnancy

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method increase of volume of the lower limb measured at the beginning of the 15-minute standing period, in intervals of two minutes and before and after the movement, measurement performed using 3DImaging with Bodytronic 600 as well as stretch mark plethysmography
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method venous symptoms during the whole experiment measured by VAS, influence of leg muscle activity (by movement) on the volume of the lower limbs and on venous symptoms and venous ejection fraction (measured by stretch mark plethysmography)
