Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\)American society of anesthesiologists(ASA) physical status classification 1 and 2
  • •2\)Scheduled for elective lower abdominal and lower limb surgery under regional anesthesia
  • •3\)Patients with valid informed consent

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\)Patient refusal for reginal anesthesia
  • •2\)Intrinsic or idiopathic coagulopathy
  • •3\)Skin or soft tissue infection at proposed site of needle insertion
  • •4\)Preexisting neurological disease like lower extremity neuropathy
  • •5\)Patients with spinal deformities
  • •6\)Severe hypovolemia
  • •7\)Emergency lower limb surgeries
  • •8\)Patients with known allergy to study drugs
