Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\)American society of anesthesiologists(ASA) physical status classification 1 and 2
  • 2\)Scheduled for elective lower abdominal and lower limb surgery under regional anesthesia
  • 3\)Patients with valid informed consent

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\)Patient refusal for reginal anesthesia
  • 2\)Intrinsic or idiopathic coagulopathy
  • 3\)Skin or soft tissue infection at proposed site of needle insertion
  • 4\)Preexisting neurological disease like lower extremity neuropathy
  • 5\)Patients with spinal deformities
  • 6\)Severe hypovolemia
  • 7\)Emergency lower limb surgeries
  • 8\)Patients with known allergy to study drugs
