1)American society of anesthesiologists(ASA) physical status classification 1 and 2
2)Scheduled for elective lower abdominal and lower limb surgery under regional anesthesia
3)Patients with valid informed consent
1)Patient refusal for reginal anesthesia
2)Intrinsic or idiopathic coagulopathy
3)Skin or soft tissue infection at proposed site of needle insertion
4)Preexisting neurological disease like lower extremity neuropathy
5)Patients with spinal deformities
6)Severe hypovolemia
7)Emergency lower limb surgeries
8)Patients with known allergy to study drugs
