Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • The inclusion criterion was patients with distal radius fracture who were scheduled for open reduction and internal fixation of fracture

Exclusion Criteria

  • patients on antiplatelets
  • patients with coagulopathy disease
  • Any history of upper extremity nerve injury or acute upper extremity nerve injury patients
  • patients with peripheral nerve palsy
  • patients with a history of past psychological illness
  • patients diagnosed with cancerous condition
  • patients with Parkinson's disease, sequelae of poliomyelitis, stroke, and other conditions that may affect postoperative outcomes
  • patient with diseases where the risk of surgery is high due to accompanying cardiopulmonary and other systemic diseases
  • patients who underwent surgery of the lower limb
  • Any patients with a fracture other than distal radius fracture
