Both Males and Females, Patients of age 18 years and above, Patients presenting to the Emergency Department with Chest Pain and diagnosed as Non-Cardiac Chest Pain by the Cardiologist or Emergency Physician
1.A rise and/or fall pattern of Cardiac Troponin I and Cardiac Troponin C values with at least 1 value above the 99th Percentile Upper Reference Limit indicating Myocardial Injury
2.Acute Myocardial Infarction indicated by presence of acute myocardial injury with clinical evidence of acute myocardial ischemia and with detection of a rise and/or fall of Cardiac Troponin values with at least 1 value above the 99th percentile Upper Reference Limit, and at least 1 of the following:
A.Symptoms of myocardial ischemia
B.New ischemic ECG changes
(a)New ST-elevation at the J-point in 2 contiguous leads with the cut-point: more than or equal to 1 mm in all leads other than leads V2 â??V3 where the following cut-points apply: more than or equal to 2 mm in men more than or equal to 40 years; more than or equal to 2.5 mm in men less than 40 years or more than or equal to 1.5 mm in women regardless of age
(b)New horizontal or downsloping ST-depression more than or equal to 0.5 mm in 2 contiguous leads and/or T inversion more than 1 mm in 2 contiguous leads with prominent R wave or R/S ratio more than 1.
C.Development of pathological Q waves on ECG
D.Echocardiogram showing new loss of viable myocardium or new regional wall motion abnormality in a pattern consistent with an ischemic etiology
E.Identification of a coronary thrombus by angiography or autopsy
3.History of Trauma to the Thorax
4.History of Spinal Surgery
5.Patients diagnosed with Alzheimerâ??s Disease and Dementia
