- •Patients scheduled for elective head and neck cancer surgery of age 20\-70 years of both sexes

Exclusion Criteria
- •Patient refusal, Respiratory insufficiency
- •Haemodynamic instability,Abnormal thyroid function, Renal or hepatic insufficiency, History of any chronic pain,Unstable personality and abuse liability and History of chronic opioid use
