简要总结
The study titled " Effect of Neuromuscular training on balance, coordination and sports specific skills in adolescent soccer players" will examine the effect of neuromuscular training (NMT) on balance, coordination, and sports-specific skills in adolescent players, targeting a critical period for skill development due to rapid physical and neurological changes in adolescence. NMT, incorporating exercises like resistance, balance, speed, agility, and plyometrics, aims to enhance soccer-specific motor skills, especially those required for balance, coordination, and agility. The study’s objectives are to assess the effects of NMT on balance, coordination, and sports specific skills (passing accuracy, kicking ability, dribbling, and tackling). It follows a pre- and post-experimental design with two groups: an experimental group receiving NMT and a control group undergoing conventional training. A purposive sample of 22 adolescent soccer players (ages 12-16) with a minimum of two years of experience is split into these groups. The eight-week intervention period includes assessments at baseline and post-intervention using tools like the Y-balance test, Kiphard–Schilling Body Coordination Test (KTK), and skill-based tests for passing, kicking, tackling, and dribbling. The outcome variables will be assessed during baseline and at the end of 8th week. Data analysis will involve descriptive statistics and the Shapiro-Wilk test to check normality. If the data is normally distributed, parametric tests will compare and assess changes between groups. For non-normally distributed data, non parametric tests will be used. SPSS 21 will manage the statistical analysis, testing the null hypothesis that NMT has no significant effect on the targeted skills against the alternative hypothesis of a significant effect.
