- •1.Children without any prior dental experience with dental environment and treatment
- •procedures.
- •2. Children who have atleast one carious tooth involving enamel and dentin requiring
- •restorative procedure either in mandible or maxilla.
- •3. Children falling under Franklââ?¬•s behaviour rating scale ââ?¬Ë?2ââ?¬• i.e negative: reluctance to
- •accept treatment, uncooperativeness, some evidence of negative attitude but not
- •pronounced.

- •1. Children suffering from any illness requiring special medical care.
- •2. Children presenting with acute pain and requiring emergency dental treatment.
