Inclusion Criteria

• Hallux valgus surgery with MAGNEZIX® CS compression screw.
• Mild or moderate hallux valgus (ICD M20.1) prior to surgery.
• Age =18 years.
• Written informed consent.
• Operation nicht später als 31.05.2019

Exclusion Criteria

• Pregnancy, suspected pregnancy or lactation period.
• Revision surgery or additional surgery on the same foot.
• Electronic implant, such as pace maker.

Primary Outcome Measures

Hydrogen concentration measured with a commercially available hydrogen concentration measurement approach. Measurements will be done when the patient is seen by a physician.
