Persons who are legally competent and mentally able to follow the instructions of the study staff
Patients with PoTS
(Diagnosis in the ANS outpatient clinic based on clinical examinations including autonomous function testing)
Exclusion of other causes (e.g. by means of a laboratory) in the ANS outpatient clinic
Patients must be able to stop taking the medication at least 48 hours before the start of the examination
The patients are included in the ProANS study
1. Pregnancy (by medical history, if in doubt, urine test)
2. Minority
3. Cardiac pacemaker (HSM) or deep brain stimulation (TSH)
4. Hemodynamically effective valvular stenosis
5. severe cerebrovascular stenosis
6. Moderate and severe sensorimotor polyneuropathy
7. Other neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's, Alzheimer's or inflammatory diseases such as multiple sclerosis (not in the register)
8. Severe heart failure
9. Diabetic rentinopathy (exclusion for Valsalva maneuver)
10. Poorly controlled diabetes mellitus
11. Drug use
12. Persons who are housed in an institution on official or court orders
13. Individuals unable to breathe deeply
