Inclusion Criteria

•Patients with ashy dermatosis(AD) or lichen planus pigmentosus (LPP) as definite or differential diagnosis from the past 10 years

•Available photographs that are consistent with AD or LPP

•Available biopsy specimen from hyperpigmented lesion

Exclusion Criteria

Any medications that can cause lichenoid drug eruption

History suggesting pigmented contact dermatitis

History of preceding erythematous lesions, suggesting PIH

Histopathology suggesting other pathology e.g. dermal melanocytosis, amyloidosis etc.
