1.Subjects age ranging from 35-55 years.
2.Subjects with minimum complement of 20 teeth.
3.Subjects who are diagnosed with chronic periodontitis with at least two non-adjacent sites with probing pocket depth (PPD/CAL) of >= to 5mm.
4.Subjects who are diagnosed with diabetes with random blood sugar (RBS) values (>=180mg/dl).
1.Subjects who had undergone any periodontal treatment in the past 6 months.
2.Subjects who are smokers.
3.Subjects who have received antibiotics/ anti-inflammatory drugs/ steroids in past 6 months.
4.Pregnant and lactating women.
5.Subjects with history of cardiac diseases, malignancy or any other inflammatory disorders.
