Inclusion Criteria
(1) single and term pregnancies, (2) failed vaginal labor (OS 10 cm), and (4) CD performed due to fetal head descent.
Exclusion Criteria
The exclusion criteria were as follows: (1) gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) or (2) hypertension or other complications. All participants provided written informed consent.
