Inclusion Criteria

Children of 6-11 years age group diagnosed to have moderate iron deficiency anaemia, based on complete blood count and peripheral smear.

Exclusion Criteria

1. Children with chronic disease

2. Children with a known history of allergy to sesame seeds

3. Children with anaemia due to any other cause

4. Children who have an active infection at the time of diagnosis of anaemia
